All About Kalimba's THE TRIO CONTEST: A MUSIC VIDEO

PRIZES FOR THIS COMPETITION (All prizes are in Philippine Peso)

🏆 1ST place — The group will receive a total cash prize of Php 5,000 + Each member can choose up to Php1,500 worth of Kalimba of their choice + AAK T-shirts

🥈2ND place — The group will receive a total cash prize of Php 1,500 and each member will receive AAK T-shirts

🥉3RD place — The group will receive a total cash prize of Php500 and each member will receive a tripod or kalimba stickers.

1. This is open to all official MEMBERS and ADMODS of ALL ABOUT KALIMBA. — with or without kalimba. Winners from last year, 2020, can now join this contest.

2. Participation MUST be in Threes —Form your own group of 3 members (1 singer + 1 playing kalimba + 1 playing other instruments). Your group is required to have a singer and a kalimba player.

•• The singer is not required to play any instruments.
•• You are allowed to use an app (like piano app, drum app, kalimba app), but will be required to be seen playing the app.

3. Entrants are free to choose any song that will describe their experience being part of ALL ABOUT KALIMBA Family and CREATE THEIR OWN MUSIC VIDEO.

4. If needed, you are allowed to have extras on your music video. But, a reminder that all registered members of each group MUST BE SEEN on the video while playing the instruments —Not required for the entire duration of the video. (Just think about how bands/artists do it in an official music video).

5. Entrants must not use copyrighted material in their videos. All entries must be made by the persons entering the competition. Hence, embedding of any downloaded images or video clips are NOT ALLOWED.

6. No limits on how many instruments to play, just make sure that vocals and kalimba/kalimba app are present.

HOW TO JOIN THE COMPETITION:

● Incomplete details will not be considered a valid registration.
● Registration period is from March 25 to April 11, 2021 only.

COMPETITION PERIOD

All entries must be received on or before 11:00 PM, Philippine time, on June 15, 2021. Entries submitted after will no longer be included.

All videos will be posted on June 19, 2021 via AAK's Page - Facebook Live premiere.

All entries must be submitted to ME via Google drive.

SELECTION OF WINNERS

There will be three (3) prize winners that will be selected by our invited judges based on the following criteria:

🌻 Originality, Meaning & Harmony (35%) – How well the participants harmonized their performance to express the meaning and mood of the song? How unique did the performance sounded– the presence of personal touch? How did they spin it to their own creativity?

🌻 Technical Quality (30%) – How well the video was crafted in terms of video composition, music, and content? How coordinated the participants in their performance in regards to syncing of instruments? How credible the partners are in their performance - confidence, attitude and appearance?

🌻 Adherence to the contest theme (30%) – Your MUSIC VIDEO must showcase your “experience being part of ALL ABOUT KALIMBA Family”

🌻 Entertainment Value (5%)– Audience Impact.
